We have been providing a high quality cost-effective service to the local farming/ business community and general Public for well over 20 years.

CALVAG was founded in 1987 by Barry Connor who was then a local Agricultural and Fencing Contractor and Allan Ebbrell a local hill farmer and businessman. The business was operating out of premises in Station Road, Luddendenfoot and was based on QUALITY & VALUE by offering a high standard of service coupled with value for money.

In 1991 we acquired and incorporated Aircom Agricultural Supplies- a local business, and moved into their premises at Brier Hey, Mytholmroyd where we remain to this day.

The turn of the century saw the BSE crisis and later the foot and mouth epidemic. A decision was made to diversify into the supply of Building/ D.I.Y Materials, Tools, Gardening Supplies, Garden Fencing, and Decking and also to expand our pet supply section, thus making our products and services more appealing to a broader spectrum of customers.

The business has continued to expand providing a "One Stop Shop" facility where top quality products covering a broad spectrum of supply, can be purchased at exceedingly competitive prices.

We are open to the general public and everyone is welcome to visit. As one customer stated "it’s like Aladdin’s Cave" and we feel sure you will be surprised at the variety of products we have in stock so do come and experience it for yourself.
